We depart Australia today on our flights to South Africa.
DAY 2 Friday 14 November 2025 Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
On our arrival into Johannesburg airport this morning we transfer to our
connecting flight to Victoria Falls Airport. On arrival we are transferred
to Hwange National Park and our Safari Lodge. Named after a local
Nhanzwa chief, Hwange National Park is the largest Park in Zimbabwe,
occupying roughly 14,650 square kilometers. It is located in the northwest
corner of the country about one hour south of the mighty Victoria Falls. It
became the royal hunting grounds to the Ndebele warrior-king Mzilikazi
in the early 19th century and was set aside as a National Park in 1929.
Hwange boasts a tremendous selection of wildlife with over 100 species
of mammals and nearly 400 bird species recorded. The elephants of
Hwange are world famous and the Park’s elephant population is one of
the largest in the world.
DAY 3 Saturday 15 November 2025 Hwange National Park
Today we have our first safari at Hwange National Park. We will hopefully
see the ‘Big 5’ – Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. We’ll also see
many varieties of colourful birds Our experienced guide will help us spot
hard-to see animals, so we make the most of the safari.
DAY 4 Sunday 16 November 2025 Hwange National Park
Our second day on safari in the Hwange National Park is sure to be
another day of great wildlife sightseeing and memorable experiences.
The afternoon is free to relax.
DAY 5 Monday 17 November 2025
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
This morning we travel to Victoria Falls and enjoy a sightseeing tour.
Victoria Falls are among the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. The
Zambezi River, which is more than 2 km wide at this point, plunges noisily
down a series of basalt gorges and raises an iridescent mist that can be
seen more than 20 km away. A great day to experience one of the major
natural wonders of the world.
DAY 6 Tuesday 18 November 2025
Victoria Falls
A free day to explore the Falls area. Perhaps a dinner tour on the Zambezi
River or a helicopter flight over the falls.
DAY 7 Wednesday 19 November 2025 Victoria Falls
Today is a free day to explore the Victoria Falls area.
DAY 8 Thursday 20 November 2025
Sesriem, Namibia
This morning we are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for our flight
to Windhoek, Namibia. On arrival we are met by our private coach and
transferred to the Hammerstein Lodge, where we spend the next three
nights. Located just 60km from Sesrium gate, Hammerstein lodge is
situated between the Nubib and Tsaris mountains. Near the lodge itself,
is a massive outcrop of granite boulders, including one boulder that looks
like a large hammer. It is from this area that Hammerstein got its name.
DAY 9 Friday 21 November 2025
Sesriem
Today we travel into the Namib-Naukluft National Park for a tour of the
spectacular desert land scapes. We travel to Sossusviel where we see
spectacular red sand dunes tree and desert landscapes. We see and have
a chance to climb the famous Dune 45 for spectacular views! We also
see the big Daddy dune with 5 million year-old sands before heading to
Deadvlei, a haven for photographers. With bare trees and red dunes in the
background it is one of the must sees in the area. A highlight of the tour.
DAY 10 Saturday 22 November 2025
Sesriem
A free day at the lodge. You may like to stay onsite or you may like to enjoy
a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the oldest desert, Namib.
DAY 11 Sunday 23 November 2025
Swakopmund, Namibia
Today we make our way north to the coastal town of Swakopmund.
Founded by German settlers in 1892, the city features notable colonial
landmarks such as the Swakopmund Lighthouse and the Mole, an historic
sea wall. Next to the lighthouse, the Swakopmund Museum offers insights
into Namibian history. On arrival late afternoon, we check into our hotel.
DAY 12 Monday 24 November 2025
Swakopmund
A free day for you to explore Swakopmund. You may like to stay in town
and explore the German architecture or take advantage of the activity
centre of Namibia and head out into the desert or Skeleton Coast on a
camel, quadbike or 4x4 vehicle.
DAY 13 Tuesday 25 November 2025
Windhoek, Namibia
After breakfast we depart Swkaopmund and make our way to Windhoek,
the capital of Namibia located in the country’s central highlands. On
arrival mid-afternoon, we enjoy a orientation tour of the city including
Christuskirche, Parliament Gardens, the 20th-century Heinitzburg Castle
and the German-built Alte Feste. We check into our hotel late afternoon.
DAY 14 Wednesday 26 November 2025 Cape Town, South Africa
This morning we are transferred to Windhoek Airport for our flight to Cape
Town. On arrival, we are met by our private coach and transferred to the
hotel for check in.
DAY 15 Thursday 27 November 2025
Cape Town
Today we enjoy a sightseeing tour to see many fabulous sights such as the
imposing brick and stucco Houses of Parliament, the Victoria and Alfred
dock area, and the Bo-Kaap area, where the Cape Malays live in brightly
coloured cube houses dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. We take
the cable car up Table Mountain for wonderful views of Table Bay, the city
and the sea (weather permitting).
DAY 16 Friday 28 November 2025
Cape Town
A free day to enjoy Cape Town. Perhaps take a tour to the Cape of Good
Hope and Cape Point, the most southwesterly tip of Africa.
DAY 17 Saturday 29 November 2025
Cape Town
A free day to explore Cape Town. You may like to take the ferry to visit the
famed Robben Island prison where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years of his
27 years imprisonment. Or enjoy a wine tour of Stellenbosch.
DAY 18 Sunday 30 November 2025
Departure
This morning we are transferred to the airport for our flights back to Australia.
DAY 19 Monday 1 December 2025 Arrive Australia
Today we arrive in Australia and the tour concludes.

International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
TOUR OPERATOR:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd (ABN 64 005 817
078) is the tour organiser. All passengers must complete and sign a
Travelrite International booking form.
TOUR COSTS:
The tour costs are based on general transport and accommodation costs on 30 September 2024. Travelrite International reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements. No alterations to price will be made within 60 days of departure from Australia.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:
A non-refundable deposit of $900 per
passenger should be sent with a completed Travelrite International
booking form. As soon as the booking is confirmed, (usually within
24 hours), a tour confirmation advice will be posted to the client.
The confirmation advice will contain all details. Final payments
are due to be paid to Travelrite International 60 days prior to the
commencement of the tour. A 1.5% administration fee will be added
to payments made by credit card.
CANCELLATION CHARGES:
Cancellations within 60 days of departure
will result in the loss of all monies paid. Cancellation outside 60 days
from departure will result in a cancellation fee of $900 per person.
Travel insurance is recommended to cover the costs of cancellation
fees due to illness, death in family, etc. Changes to the Tour Itinerary.
Travelrite International reserves the right to make changes to the tour
itinerary to fit in with operational requirements. Any changes to the
itinerary will be replaced with similar arrangements with an equal or
greater value.
REFUNDS:
The tour is based on arrangements which do not allow
for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or
other services not utilised after the tour has commenced.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
All passengers will require a valid passport
with at least six months validity. A visa will be required for
Zimbabwe and is arranged on arrival at the airport in USD. If not
an Australian passport holder check with Travelrite International for
visa requirements.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Adequate travel insurance is highly recomm
ended to cover tour members for the consequences of unforeseen
events during the tour and for cancellation fees which could result
from events such as illness, accident, death etc.
BAGGAGE:
Passengers qualify for a 1 x 23kg free baggage allowance
on flights to join or return from the tour.
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS:
The tour arrangements have been
made on the basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling.
In the event that less than the required number of passengers
have confirmed their booking 60 days from the date of departure,
Travelrite International reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving
a full refund of monies paid, or offer arrangements to proceed with
the tour at a modified fare.
TOUR ORGANISATION:
Travelrite reserves the right to change advertised
entrances if necessary for the smooth operation of the tour.
TOUR PARTICIPATION:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd is the tour
organiser. Travelrite International Pty Ltd, its agents, officers,
affiliates, and/ or suppliers of services pursuant to, or in connection
with these tours, shall act only as agents in making arrangements
for hotels, transportation, including transportation by air and coach
restaurants, or any other service and do not assume any liability
whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to
person or property due to an act of negligence or a default of any
hotel, carrier restaurant company or person rendering any services
included in tours, or by act of God. Further, no responsibilities
are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage,
labour disputes, machinery break-down, quarantine, government
restraints, weather, terrorism or other causes beyond their control.
No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omission,
delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. Baggage is at
owners’ risk throughout the tour. The passage contract between the
carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract
between the carriers and the purchasers of this tour and/ or the
passengers. The right is reserved to withdraw any tour and/or make
such changes in the tours as may be found desirable or necessary
for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of
the fly/ tour. This contract shall be construed in accordance with the
laws of the State of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be
undertaken in the State of Victoria.
DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Travelrite Inter
national to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge
that Travelrite International acts as your agent for the purpose
of making contracts between you and the various providers of
accommodation, transportation and other services that comprise
the tour. Travelrite International may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engage any
third party to provide or make available to you, any good or service
which Travelrite International reasonably believes is necessary
for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or
otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances
in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You
appoint Travelrite International your attorney for this purpose.
You agree to pay Travelrite International any cost thereof and you
indemnify Travelrite International in respect of any cost it incurs
in this regard. Travelrite International advises you to obtain travel
insurance generally including in respect of the risk that any such
good or service may become required.
