Jewel of the Seas combines sleek swiftness, panoramic vistas, and wide-open spaces for the ultimate cruise getaway. With acres of glass throughout and elevators facing the sea, every view is picture-worthy. Bask at the tranquil Solarium pool, recharge at Vitality Spa, or reach new heights on our signature rock-climbing wall. When the sun goes down, the night heats up with Broadway-style shows, Casino Royale, plus 16 bars and lounges. In 2016 the ship was completely renovated with three new restaurants, poolside movie screen, tech upgrades and more. This revitalization makes Jewel the newest ship to sail out of Rome this summer.

Day 2 Como, Italy
This morning we arrive at Milan airport. After clearing customs, we will be met by our private coach and transferred to our centrally located hotel in Como. Set in the shadow of the snow-covered Rhaetian Alps and hemmed in on both sides by steep wooded hills, Lake Como is the most spectacular of the region’s three major lakes. Shaped like an upside-down Y, its winding shoreline is dotted with ancient villages and exquisite villas. Meals included: In-flight

Day 3 Como, Italy
A free day to visit the beautiful towns on Lake Como. Catch a ferry and travel to Villa Carlotta, known for its beautiful setting and spectacular gardens. Take the ferry across the lake to the lovely town of Bellagio. Occupying a magnificent site on the promontory dividing Lake Lecco from Lake Como, Bellagio is known for its pretty streets, villas and gardens. Meals included: Breakfast

Day 4 Como, Italy
A free day to explore the town of Como and the Italian Lakes. Meals included: Breakfast

Day 5 Florence, Italy
This morning we travel south and stop in Bologna for free time to walk around this lively city. The city has a well-preserved historic centre and is known as the home of Bolognese sauce. In the afternoon we will arrive in Florence, known as “The Cradle of the Renaissance” which will be your base for exploring the region over the next three days. Meals included: Breakfast

Day 6 Florence, Italy
This morning we will enjoy a walking tour to see Florence’s highlights with a local guide. We will see the Piazza del Duomo, one of the largest cathedrals in the Christian world. Together with Brunelleschi’s wonderful dome, we see the Campanile and the Baptistry. We also wander through the Piazza della Signoria, which contains the Loggia della Signoria, the Palazzo Vecchio and nearby, the Ponte Vecchio over the Arno River. Meals included: Breakfast

Day 7 Florence, Italy
A day for individual exploration of this historic city. Florence’s museums, palaces, and churches house some of the greatest artistic treasures in the world. Visit the Uffizi Gallery, with its unsurpassed collection of art, the Accademia di Belle Arti, with Michelangelo’s statue of David, the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens. Meals included: Breakfast

Day 8 Rome, Italy
Today we travel to Siena, where we will see the magnificent Piazza del Campo renowned for the famous Palio horse race held in the Campo and its splendid civic tower and the enormous, partially completed Duoma. We continue our journey and stop in Orvieto, one of the most popular places in the region of Umbria, Italy. Vineyards famous for their delicious white wines surround the town. Orvieto’s impressive gothic cathedral houses some of Luca Signorelli’s most beautiful frescoes. In the afternoon we travel onto the eternal city of Rome and the capital of Italy for three nights. Day 9 Rome, Italy
This morning we will enjoy an overview sightseeing tour of Rome with a local guide. We will see the famous Colosseum, the Spanish steps, Piazza Navona, The Pantheon and more. We will also see the Trevi Fountain, were you can throw two coins over your shoulder into the fountain and wish to return to Rome. Meals included: Breakfast

Day 10 Rome, Italy
A free day to explore Rome. You may wish to visit the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Meals included: Breakfast

Day 11 Rome – Begin 7 night Greek Islands Cruise
Today we travel to Civitavecchia to board the Jewel of the Seas. Be up on deck as the ship slips her moorings at 5:00pm for the start of our fabulous cruise. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 12 At sea
A day at sea is the perfect opportunity to explore the fabulous facilities of this magnificent ship. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 13 Santorini, Greece
Arriving after lunch, we have a day to explore Santorini, known as the “Black Pearl of the Aegean”, one of the most spectacular landscapes in Greece and in the world. The traditional villages of the island, built on tall cliffs, offer a breath-taking view over the submerged volcano. They represent the most beautiful island view you have ever seen! Enjoy free time to explore this magnificent port. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 14 Mykonos, Greece
Today we arrive in the scenic Greek island of Mykonos. You will have a free day to explore the quaint streets and beaches of this beautiful island. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 15 Athens, Greece
Today we call into the ancient city of Athens, capital of Greece. Athens is the home of the Acropolis and the ultimate in ancient Greek architectural perfection, the Parthenon, built to honour the goddess Athena and one of the wonders of the ancient world. A highlight of Athens is the Acropolis, still dominating the frantic bustle of modern Athens. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 16 Katakolon, Greece
Katakolon is the gateway of Olympia, the site of the ancient Olympic Games. The Ancient Greeks flocked here every four years for more than a millennium to celebrate the sacred games dedicated to Zeus. Otherwise stay around Katakolon and enjoy the seaside town with fishing boats bobbing in the harbour and many cafes around the waterfront. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 17 At Sea
A free day while the Jewel of the Seas cruises the Mediterranean. There will be time to enjoy the wonderful facilities of the ship, perhaps have a spa or beauty treatment, attend an informative lecture, or a dance class. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 18 Rome, Italy – Australia
This morning we arrive back at Civitavecchia, and after disembarking the ship we travel to Rome airport for your flight home after a spectacular trip-of-a-lifetime. Meals included: Breakfast & In-flight

You will arrive back in Australia. The tour concludes.

Jewel of the Seas is operated by Royal Caribbean Cruises and the Best of Italy and Greek Islands fly/cruise arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions and general information detailed in the Royal Caribbean brochure 2019. All passengers must complete and online cruise personalizer at and sign a Cruise Offers Value Holidays booking form.

Deposit and Payment

All Cruise Offers Value Holidays are heavily discounted and available for a limited time only. For this reason we require a deposit of $1900 per person at the time of booking. This payment is non-refundable. The deposit should be sent with a completed Cruise Offers booking form that lists your requested cabin category. As soon as the booking is confirmed, (usually within 24 hours), a cruise confirmation advice will be posted to the client. The confirmation advice will contain all details. The passenger must also complete the online Royal Caribbean cruise personaliser at Final payments are due to be paid to Cruise Offers 90 days prior to the commencement of the Jewel of the Seas fly/cruise. A 1.5% administration fee will be added to payments by Visa or Mastercard and 3% for payment by AMEX or Diners Club cards. Any changes made to a booking after purchase may incur fees.

The cruise is based on arrangements which do not allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or other services not utilised after the tour has commenced.

Travel Documents

All passengers will require a valid passport. A visa is not required for Europe for stays up to 90 days. If not an Australian passport holder check with Cruise Offers for visa requirements.

Travel Insurance

Adequate travel insurance is highly recommended to cover cruise members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the cruise and for cancellation fees which could result from events such as illness, accident, death etc.


Passengers qualify for a 20kg free baggage allowance on flights to join or return from the cruise.

Minimum Tour Numbers

The fly/cruise arrangements have been made on the basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling. In the event that less than the required number of passengers have confirmed their booking 90 days from the date of departure, Cruise Offers reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of monies paid, or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified fare.

Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
