DAY 2 Sunday 23 November, 2025 Singapore
Your tour today visits the Malay enclave to see
19th century shophouses, trendy shops and
cafés, Arab Street and the golden domed Sultan
Mosque. Pause in a hawker market for a serving
of Singapore Noodles for lunch and walk along
Orchard Road shopping street and see Clarke
Quay and the Merlion Statue. Finish by touring
the iconic Supertree Grove and the Cloud
Forest at the Gardens by the Bay and see the
National Orchid Gardens. Later, why not enjoy a
Singapore Sling at the Raffles Hotel followed by
a drink on the top floor of the Marina Bay Sands

DAY 3 Monday 24 November, 2025 Malacca
This morning after breakfast, you’ll cross into
Malaysia and travel on the electric Southern
Shuttle train from Johor Bahru to Segamat, stop
to enjoy lunch, before driving to Malacca. This
vibrant old town is quintessential Malaysia; a
former colonial city with a fascinating history,
multicultural diversity, great food and plenty
of sights. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your
hotel and enjoy an orientation walk to admire
the Portuguese, Dutch and British shophouses
and mansions which have been transformed
into cafes, galleries and hotels. Enjoy free time
for dinner at the colourful Jonker Street Night

DAY 4 Tuesday 25 November, 2025 Malacca – Kuala Lumpur
This morning, you’ll embark on a three-wheeled
trishaw tour of Malacca old town to see
Harmony Street and to learn about Malaysia’s
three main religions – Islam, Buddhism and
Hinduism, visit the tomb of Hang Kasturi, the
15th century Sultan of Malacca and learn about
the ancient spice trade from Asia to Europe.
There’s free time for lunch, before driving to
Tampin Station for the electric train to Kuala
Lumpur (or KL). Arrive and check into your
hotel, the 1930s style colonial Majestic Hotel.
This former ‘railway hotel’ has an excellent
restaurant and cafe, where you will enjoy an

DAY 5 Wednesday 26 November, 2025 Kuala Lumpur
Today, you’ll visit the Negara Mosque, the
Istana Negara Palace and wander through
Independence Square. Visit the British colonialera
KL Railway Station, the 19th century Sultan
Abdul Samad Building and the Tugu Negara
Monument. Enjoy free time for lunch at the
enormous Suria KLCC mall, located at the
foot of the iconic steel and glass masterpiece,
the Petronas Towers. Later, travel up to the
Skybridge and Observation Deck of the Towers
for wonderful views of the city. Tonight, you’ll
take part in a guided food tour to learn about,
and sample Malay, Indian and Chinese street

DAY 6 Thursday 27 November, 2025 Cameron Highlands
This morning, you’ll travel on an electric train
north through palm oil plantations to Ipoh.
Disembark and see the old-world colonial
charm of the Railway Station and wander the
backstreets to see street art murals, try some
street food and have a cup of Ipoh’s famous
palm oil white coffee. Travel to the Cameron
Highlands and see emerald tea plantations at
Malaysia’s largest colonial hill-station. You’ll
explore a local tea plantation to learn about the
‘bush to cup’ production, see endless rows of
green shrubs in the serene rolling highlands
and enjoy a cuppa. Later, enjoy High Tea and
dinner at the colonial Jim Thompson Tea Room.

DAY 7 Friday 28 November, 2025 Heritage steam train – Penang
This morning, you will visit the Lata Iskandar Waterfall, cactus valley, strawberry, butterfly and honeybee farms and visit a rose garden before travelling back down to Ipoh. At noon, you’ll travel on a Class 56 KTM vintage locomotive from Ipoh to Penang, travelling in first class comfort in refurbished carriages to relive the glory days of heritage rail travel. Arrive in Penang, a town that delivers old-world Asia in spades. Upon arrival, unwind in the diverse and cosmopolitan George Town at dinner. Overnight: Penang. (B,L)
DAY 8 Saturday 29 November, 2025 Penang
This morning, after breakfast you’ll tour old Penang to experience the exotic kaleidoscope of cultures that still exist in Chinatown, the Muslim Quarter and in Little India. Marvel at the 19th century tumble-down shophouses, colourful street markets and hawker-filled alleyways. Visit the UNESCO listed Blue Mansion, an architectural gem built by a wealthy Chinese merchant. Enjoy free time at lunch, before travelling on world’s oldest funicular railway to Penang Hill. Return to the old town where your afternoon is free. Tonight, why not try Nasi Lemak, Laksa or Char Koay Teow at dinner. Overnight: Penang. (B)
DAY 9 Sunday 30 November, 2025 Khao Sok National Park
This morning, there is free time to relax in the old town of Penang, to shop, eat or simply sleep in! Enjoy an early lunch, before transferring to the airport for your flight to Phuket. Land in the early afternoon and transfer to the jungle paradise at the Khao Sok National Park. The park is covered by the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world at 160 million years old and features towering limestone karst cliffs that jut out into the sky and the beautiful emerald waters of Cheow Lan Lake. Enjoy free time at your lodge where you can sample some of the local delicacies at dinner. Overnight: Khao Sok National Park. (B)
DAY 10 Monday 1 December, 2025 Khao Sok National Park
After breakfast this morning, you’ll travel by traditional longtail boat on Cheow Lan Lake to see the many limestone pinnacles that rise over 1,000 metres from the lake. On your journey, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for wild bull elephants, gibbons and spectacled langur monkeys, hornbills and even tigers. Walk through an island cave, full of stalactites and bats, through pristine jungle to spot Rafflesia Kerri, one of the world’s largest flowers. Don’t forget your camera today, this place is magnificent! Enjoy lunch in a local raft house before returning to your hotel. Overnight: Khao Sok National Park. (B,L)
DAY 11 Tuesday 2 December, 2025 Hua Hin
After breakfast, you’ll travel on the express train from Surat Thani to Hua Hin, Thailand’s first beach resort and the location of a few famous American movies. Enjoy impressive coastal scenery while zipping past rural villages in air-conditioned comfort. You’ll enjoy a typical Thai lunch on board and arrive at the Hua Hin train station in the mid-afternoon. Built in 1928, the station is considered to be the most beautiful in Thailand due to its Victorian ‘gingerbread style’ buildings. DAY 12 Wednesday 3 December, 2025 Maeklong Railway Market – Kanchanaburi
This morning, we travel on the Beach Train to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Arriving early, you’ll stroll through the markets, take a boat along waterways filled with small vendor boats and see rustic riverside houses. Moving on, we visit the Maeklong Railways Market for a unique experience – whenever a locomotive train approaches, the awnings and shop fronts are moved back from the tracks and replaced once the train has passed! You’ll also get to ride on the train, before enjoying lunch together. Later, drive to Kanchanaburi and enjoy dinner at the famous night markets. Overnight: Kanchanaburi. (B,L,D)
DAY 13 Thursday 4 December, 2025 Kanchanaburi – Bangkok
Today you will learn about the tragic WWII history on a guided tour. Your first stop will be the iconic Bridge Over the River Kwai, which was part of the infamous Death Railway to Burma. Travel on a local train to see the most beautiful panoramic scenes of the river, reflect at the infamous Hellfire Pass memorial and visit a plaque in memory of Sir Weary Dunlop. Enjoy an included lunch and visit the Thai-Burma Railway Centre and the Allied War Cemetery. In the mid-afternoon, take a local train to Bangkok, arriving three hours later. Overnight: Bangkok. (B,L)
DAY 14 Friday 5 December, 2025 Bangkok – Ayutthaya
Today is a very special day, Father’s Day in Thailand and the birthday of HM Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej who reigned over the country for 70 years until his death in 2016. To mark this occasion, Thai Railways charter a steam locomotive train from the World War II era on a historic journey from Bangkok to Chachoengsao to celebrate his life. You’ll ride this train for an unforgettable cultural experience and enjoy the festivities, colour and merriment. Afterwards, enjoy some free time in Chachoengsao at lunch, drive to Ayutthaya and check into your hotel where your evening is free. Overnight: Ayutthaya. (B)
DAY 15 Saturday 6 December, 2025 Ayutthaya
This morning, you’ll experience yet another memorable rail experience, this time by travelling on the ‘Floating Train’. Late in the year, the train travels across a series of viaducts above Pasak Chonlasit Reservoir when the water is high on both sides which gives the impression that the train is floating on water! Stop at a viewpoint on the tracks for photos and continue onto Khok Salung Station where there’s free time for lunch and to even visit a sunflower field. Travel via Lopburi to see their 13th century temple built by King Jayavarman VII and enjoy free time in Ayutthaya. Overnight: Ayutthaya. (B)
DAY 16 Sunday 7 December, 2025 Bangkok
This morning, you’ll visit Ayutthaya, one of ancient capitals of Siam and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival, explore the photogenic ruins and gilded temples and discover rows of Buddhas beheaded by the Burmese who destroyed the city in 1767. Enjoy lunch and visit an agricultural village famous for its hand-weaving and meet a local family in their home. Travel by local train to Bangkok and disembark at Hua Lamphong station, a Neo-Renaissance terminus dating back to 1916. Overnight: Bangkok. (B, L)
DAY 17 Monday 8 December, 2025 Bangkok
This morning, you will tour the famous Wat Pho temple, also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and home to more than 1,000 Buddha images, the magnificent Grand Palace and Wat Arun. Enjoy lunch together and enjoy an afternoon at leisure to relax or explore more of Bangkok independently. Perhaps take a longtail boat for a river journey, take a tuk tuk, or enjoy a Thai massage or a Thai cooking class. Gather in the early evening for your farewell dinner. Overnight: Bangkok (B,L,D)

Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.

Tour Costs: The tours costs are based on transport, accommodation costs and entrance costs as at 13 January 2025. Travelrite reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements. No alterations to costings will be made within 60 days of departure.
Deposit and Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $900 per passenger is required at the time of booking. Full payment will be required 60 days before departure. A 1.5% administration charge will be added to payment by Visa, Mastercard and America Express.
Cancellations: Cancellations within 60 days prior to departure will result in the loss of all monies paid. Cancellations outside of 60 days prior to departure will result in the loss of the deposit paid per person. Travel insurance is recommended to cover the costs of cancellation fees due to illness, death in family, etc.
Changes To The Tour Itinerary: Travelrite International reserves the right to make changes to the tour itinerary to fit in with operational requirements. Any changes to the itinerary will be replaced with similar arrangements with an equal or greater value.
Minimum Tour Numbers and Conditions: The tour has been costed on the basis of a minimum number of passengers having booked 60 days prior to departure. Travelrite reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of all monies paid or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified cost if the minimum number is not achieved.
Refunds:
The tour is based on arrangements which do not allow for
any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or other
services not utilised after the tour has commenced.
Baggage: All passengers qualify for 1 piece free baggage allowance.

Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
Responsibility: Travelrite International Pty Ltd. is the tour organiser. Travelrite International acts only as agents in making of arrangements with carriers, hoteliers and others for the tour. As a result, we cannot accept liability for any act or omission whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise of those carriers, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with the tour over whom we have no direct or exclusive control. We do not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change of schedule or any other events which are beyond our direct control, such as, but not limited to, war, flood, fire, civil disturbance, acts of God, acts of government, or any other authorities, terrorism, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies or firms and the purchasers of these tours and the passengers. You engage Travelrite International
to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite
International acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts
between you and the various providers of accommodation, transportation
and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite International
may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as
your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you,
any good or service which Travelrite International reasonably believes is
necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you
or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in
which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint
Travelrite International your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay
Travelrite International any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite
International in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite
International advises you to obtain travel insurance generally including
in respect of the risk that any such good or service may become required.
