Today we depart on our flight to Glasgow.
DAY 2 Monday 18 August, 2025 Glasgow
Today we arrive in Glasgow. After clearing customs we are transferred to our
hotel in Glasgow where we spend the night.
DAY 3 Tuesday 19 August, 2025 Fort William Area, Scotland
This morning we depart Glasgow and travel north and first visit Glencoe site of
the Glencoe Massacre. We then continue on to Fort William.
DAY 4 Wednesday 20 August, 2025 Fort William Area, Scotland
Today we will take you on the Jacobite Steam rail journey from Fort William
to Mallaig. One of the greatest railway journeys in the world we travel along
the Glenfinnan viaduct famous from the Harry Potter films. We continue north
near the coast from where on a clear summer’s day, we can see the “Small Isles”
of Rum, Eigg, Muck, Canna and the southern tip of Skye. We take the return
journey on the train to Fort William.
DAY 5 Thursday 21 August, 2025 Aviemore, Scotland
We will be taken back in time today to a ten mile long 1950s branch line between
Aviemore, Boat of Garten and Broomhill where, remarkably, little has changed
since 1863 when the Victorians brought a railway to this splendid area of the
Highlands. Later we travel to Dufftown to ride the Keith & Dufftown Railway
(The Whisky Line), a heritage railway running for 11 miles from Dufftown
railway station to Keith Town via Drummuir. Originally part of the former Great
North of Scotland Railway line linking Aberdeen with Elgin, the line, reopened
by volunteers during 2000 and 2001, passes through some of Scotland’s most
picturesque scenery, with forest and farmland, lochs and glens, castles and
distilleries.
DAY 6 Friday 22 August, 2025 York, England
This morning we will travel by coach to Perth where we board our train to travel
to York. Enjoy the scenery of Scotland and England as we travel to Edinburgh
and then on to York. Upon arrival we are transferred to our city hotel.
DAY 7 Saturday 23 August, 2025 York
This morning we will visit the National Railway Museum with a collection
that has been built up over the past 80 years. It has over 100 locomotives and
nearly 200 other items of rolling stock, telling the story of the railway from the
early 19th century to today. The rest of the day will be free for independent
sightseeing.
DAY 8 Sunday 24 August, 2025
Southampton, England
Today we take the train to London. We then travel to the famous Bluebell
Railway an 11 mile heritage railway that has been used in many film and
television productions. We then transfer to Southampton and our hotel.

This morning is free to explore Southampton We will then transfer to the port
to board the Regal Princess for our voyage around the British Isles.

DAY 11 Wednesday 27 August, 2025 Cork, Ireland
This morning we arrive at the port city of Cork, the third largest city in Ireland
after Dublin and Belfast. On our tour today we visit Blarney Castle, famous
the world over for being the place where you can kiss the ‘Blarney Stone’. The
legend states that once kissed, the stone bestows the gift of eloquence. We
then return to the city of Cork and take the Cork to Cobh train line back to
Cobh to visit The Queenstown Story Visitor Centre, which explores Ireland’s
emigration phenomenon.
DAY 12 Thursday 28 August, 2025
Holyhead, Wales
Today we arrive at Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey, off the north-west coast
of Wales. Today we will enjoy two exceptional rail experiences. We first travel
by coach to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch,
the Welsh town with the longest name in the world. We will stop for photos
before travelling to Llanberis, to ride on the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Soon
after the train leaves Llanberis station, the track crosses the first of two viaducts
across the Afon Hwch river and a wonderful view of the waterfall plunging into the gorge below can be seen. As the train emerges onto open ground,
we will have a first glimpse of the peak of Snowdon. The train starts climbing
before one of the world’s great panoramas is finally revealed at the summit of
Snowdon. Returning to Llanberis, we drive into Caernarfon for lunch, before
boarding our train on the Welsh Highland Railway, which runs through some of
the most stunning scenery in Britain. Starting near the quayside at the ancient
port of Caernarfon, the route climbs on the old standard gauge track-bed to
the old junction with the original WHR at Dinas. Rejoining the track-bed of
the original WHR, the line climbs into the heart of the Snowdonia Mountains,
travelling past lakes, then down through a forest and a spectacular rocky gorge
to the sea at Porthmadog, having crossed Snowdonia from sea to sea in the
course of its 25 miles. We are then transferred by coach back to the ship.
DAY 13 Friday 29 August, 2025 Belfast, Northern Ireland
This morning we arrive at Belfast, the seat of Parliament (called Stormont) and
capital of Northern Ireland. We travel along part of the beautiful coastal road
to take in the stunning views on our way to the Giant’s Causeway to see the
remarkable rock formations. The lunar landscape of the Giant’s Causeway is
a World Heritage site where the basalt columns packed tightly together have
made the Giant’s Causeway the subject of numerous legends. We then visit the
amazing Titanic Museum located at the dry dock where the Titanic was built.
DAY 14 Saturday 30 August, 2025 Glasgow, Scotland
Today we travel on the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway. We will enjoy a scenic ten mile
return train journey to Manuel along the Forth Estuary, through woodlands,
past waterfalls and over the Avon Viaduct. There will then be time to visit the
Museum of Scottish Railways before we return to the ship.
DAY 15 Sunday 31 August, 2025 At sea
A day at sea to relax, explore and enjoy the fabulous facilities of the ship. This
afternoon join the group for a game of trivia.
DAY 16 Monday 1 September, 2025
Orkney Islands (Kirkwall),
Scotland
Today we call into the Orkney Islands. Kirkwall is located on Mainland, the
largest of the Orkney Islands. On our sightseeing tour today we will see the
striking 12th century sandstone Norse St Magnus’ Cathedral. We also see some of Europe’s finest archaeological sites, including the 5,000 year old Neolithic
settlement of Skara Brae, the mysterious Standing Stones of Stenness and the
Stone Age Ring of Brodgar. Touring around the island we also see the dramatic
natural scenery including rugged cliffs and the prolific birdlife.
DAY 17 Tuesday 2 September, 2025
Edinburgh, Scotland
Today we visit Edinburgh, the royal and ancient capital of Scotland. On our
sightseeing tour we see the ancient Royal Mile with its cobbled streets which
forms the backbone of the Medieval Old Town and leads from the Palace of
Holyrood all the way to Edinburgh Castle. Later we will travel on the Borders
Railway, the longest new domestic railway to be built in the UK for over 100
years. The 30 miles of track sees passenger trains running from Edinburgh,
through Midlothian and into the Scottish Borders to Tweed Bank for the first
time in almost half a century.

International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair-climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
Tour Operator: Travelrite International Pty Ltd (ABN 64 005 817 078) is the tour organiser. Regal Princess is operated by Princess Cruises and the fly, cruise and tour arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions and general information detailed in the Princess Cruises brochure. All passengers must complete the Princess Cruises online check-in on www.princess.com as well as a Travelrite International booking form.
Deposit and Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $1200 per passenger should be sent with a booking form that lists your requested cabin category. As soon as the booking is confirmed (usually within 24 hours) a cruise confirmation advice will be forwarded to the client. Final payments are due to be paid to Travelrite International 90 days prior to the commencement of the fly, tour and cruise holiday. A 1.5% administration fee will be added to all payments by credit card. If fares and air taxes change due to government and airport regulations and currency fluctuations Travelrite International reserves the right to charge additional amounts.

Refunds:
The cruise is based on arrangements that do not allow for any
refunds in respect to accommodation, meals or other services not utilised
after the tour has commenced.
Travel Documents: All passengers will require a valid passport. If not an Australian passport holder, check with Travelrite International for visa requirements.
Travel Insurance: Adequate travel insurance is highly recommended to cover cruise members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the cruise and for cancellation fees which could result from such events such as illness, accident, death etc.
Baggage: Passengers qualify for a 23kg free baggage allowance on flights to join or return from the cruise.
Minimum Tour Numbers: The cruise arrangements have been made on the basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling. In the event that less than the required number of passengers have confirmed their booking 90 days from the date of departure, Travelrite International reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of monies paid, or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified fare.
Tour Participation:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
Responsibilities: Travelrite International Pty Ltd is the tour organiser. Travelrite International Pty Ltd, it’s agents, officers, affiliates, and/or suppliers of services pursuant to or in connection with these fly/cruise/ stay holidays shall act only as agents in making arrangements for hotels, transportation including transportation by ship, restaurants, or any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant company or person rendering any services included in fly/cruises, or by act of God. Further no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery break-down, quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism or other causes beyond their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omission, delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. Baggage is at owners risk throughout the fly/ cruise/stay holiday. The passage contract between the carriers concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of these fly/cruise/stay holidays and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to withdraw any fly/cruise/stay holiday and/or make such changes in the fly/cruise/stay holidays as may be found desirable or necessary for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of the fly/cruises. Delays and Unforeseen Events:
You engage Travelrite to book this tour
on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite acts as your agent for
the purpose of making contracts between you and the various providers of
accommodation, transportation and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or
may as your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to
you, any good or service which Travelrite reasonably believes is necessary
for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise
accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour
itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite your
attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay Travelrite any cost thereof and you
indemnify Travelrite in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite
advises you to obtain travel insurance generally including in respect of the
risk that any such good or service may become required.
