DAY 2 Friday 30 January 2026 Delhi
After your welcome tour briefing over breakfast,
you’ll drive past the Red Fort and wander the
lively streets of Old Delhi. Start with a visit to
the grand Jama Masjid Mosque and explore the
bustling and colourful back alleys, where you’ll
wind through its lanes and markets and stop for a
chai masala and a samosa. Visit the Sheeshganj
Gurudwara Sikh temple, enjoy the thrill of a
rickshaw ride and meander through the Chandni
Chowk spice markets. Enjoy lunch at a local dhaba
restaurant and take the Delhi Metro to the modern
Connaught Place before a welcome dinner in the

DAY 3 Saturday 31 January 2026 Fairy Queen steam locomotive – Heritage Fort Stay
This morning, you’ll travel on the legendary Fairy
Queen steam loco, listed in the Guinness Book of
Records as the world’s oldest steam locomotive
in regular service. Travel in restored heritage
carriages, British built in Leeds in 1855 and enjoy
lunch and refreshments on board while you travel
past rural villages and the scenic countryside.
Arriving in Rewari, tour the Steam Locomotive
Shed and Rail Museum and travel on the Shalimar
Malani train to Alwar. Upon arrival, transfer to the
10th-century Fort Dadhikar, a luxury rural heritage
fort that offers a fascinating glimpse into real
Rajasthan. Check in and savour delicious local

DAY 4 Sunday 1 February 2026 Jaipur
After your spectacular breakfast in the grounds
of your fort hotel, embark on a walking tour of the
village to meet the locals, visit a Hindu temple
and wander through the markets. Drive to Alwar
for your local train to the Pink City of Jaipur, the
capital of Rajasthan. Check into your palace hotel
and enjoy lunch. Start your city tour by visiting one
of the country’s most photographed landmarks,
the Hawa Mahal otherwise known as ‘The Palace
of the Winds’, see the extravagant City Palace and
enjoy dinner at the British Raj train themed Steam
Restaurant to relive the golden era of the Indian

DAY 5 Monday 2 February 2026 Jaipur
After breakfast, you’ll visit Amber Fort which is set
on a hilltop overlooking Maota Lake near Jaipur.
The palace complex is a fine example of Rajput
architecture and is built from pink and yellow
sandstone and white marble. Return to Jaipur
to enjoy lunch before following the sounds of
hawkers to the lively Johri Bazaar. Travel to a royal
haveli where you’ll meet the owner who will take you on a tour of his mansion townhouse. Return to your hotel where your day is free. Tonight, why not catch a Bollywood blockbuster at the spectacular Art Deco-meringue shaped Raj Mandir Cinema. Overnight: Hotel Narain Niwas Palace, Jaipur (B,L)
DAY 6 Tuesday 3 February 2026 Ranthambore National Park
This morning, travel by local train to Sawai Madhopur, your gateway to the Ranthambore National Park, one of the best places in the world to spot tigers. Check into your jungle camp wildlife resort and enjoy lunch and free time in the resort’s oasis of beautiful landscaped gardens. Venture out for a late afternoon safari through the park – a chance to spot some of this region’s resident Bengal tiger population. Due to conservation efforts and educational awareness, there are around 4,000 wild tigers in India, which is 80% of the world’s wild tiger population. Return to your royal heritage resort for dinner. DAY 7 Wednesday 4 February 2026 Agra
This morning, you’ll enjoy another game drive to search for that elusive tiger as well gazelle, hyenas, sloth bears, crocodiles, leopard and jackals. Board your train in Sawai Madhopur and travel to Agra, home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the majestic Taj Mahal. Check into your hotel and visit the Taj. This ivory-white marble mausoleum was built in 1653 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a testament to his love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal who died in 1631 aged 37 during the birth of her 14th child. DAY 8 Thursday 5 February 2026 Agra
Early this morning, there’s the option to return to the Taj Mahal for a sunrise visit, the best time to go. Return to your hotel for breakfast and explore Agra Fort which served as the main residence of the rulers of the Mughal dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. It was also where Emperor Shah Jahan was imprisoned after being overthrown by his third son Aurangzeb. Moving on, you will visit a local family for a home-cooked Mughali meal at lunch and wander Mehtab Bagh Gardens to view the Taj from across the Yamuna River. Return to your hotel for a free evening. DAY 9 Friday 6 February 2026 Delhi – Chandigarh
Rise early for breakfast before travelling on the Rajdhani Express to Delhi before transferring to the Vande Bharat Express to Chandigarh. Enjoy lunch on board the train and arrive in the mid-afternoon. Designed by Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier in the 1950s, Chandigarh is like no other Indian city with its grid-like city map and perfectly planned and identical sectors. After arriving, you’ll visit the Capitol Complex, the Tower of Shadows building, the Haryana High Court and Legislative Assembly building and the Open Hand Monument. DAY 10 Saturday 7 February 2026 Kalka – Shimla Toy Train – Shimla
After breakfast, continue touring Le Corbusier’s architectural gems before transferring to the Kalka station for the iconic train journey on the Himalayan Queen aka the Toy Train in our own private carriages. This scenic journey will stop in at charming Victorian-style railway stations along the way during its steady climb through pine forests and up the mountains to Shimla. Arrive and transfer to our heritage hotel for check in and dinner at a local restaurant. This morning after breakfast, embark on a walking tour and visit the former official British India summer residence of the British viceroys, the Gaiety Theatre, a splendidly restored Victorian theatre and walk along The Ridge, the hub of cultural activities of Shimla. Stop at the quirky and colourful Cafe Simla Times, which is where you’ll have lunch. Later, wander along the main shopping street, the Mall Road, the bustling Lakkar Bazaar and the Jakhu Temple to see the 108-foot statue of the Monkey-God Lord Hanuman. DAY 12 Monday 9 February 2026 Amritsar
This morning, board your coach and travel through picturesque valleys and past soaring mountains and board the Mumbai CSMT Amritsar Express, arriving in Amritsar in the late afternoon. Founded in 1577, the unofficial ‘Sikh capital of the world’ is home to the spectacular Golden Temple, Sikhism’s holiest shrine and one of India’s most serene and humbling sights. After checking into your heritage hotel, enjoy dinner together and visit the magnificent Golden Temple at night to listen to the soothing sounds of the devout chanting verses from the Sikh holy book – the Guru Granth Sahib at dusk. DAY 13 Tuesday 10 February 2026 Amritsar
After breakfast, return to the Golden Temple for a morning mystics tour to see the sights and wander through the rambling streets and bazaars of the Old City by foot. You will also visit Jallianwala Bagh – a park that commemorates the 1,500 Indians killed or wounded when a British officer ordered his soldiers to shoot unarmed protesters in 1919. Enjoy some free time at lunch, before heading out to the India–Pakistan Attari/Wagah border crossing to witness an epic and intricate dance-off at the daily flag ceremony. DAY 14 Wednesday 11 February 2026 Delhi
After an early breakfast, travel to the Amritsar train station for the Vande Bharat Express train, arriving in Delhi in the early afternoon. Upon arrival, visit India Gate, an imposing triumphal arch commemorating the Indian soldiers killed in the First World War and visit the National Rail Museum to learn about the rich heritage of the Indian Railways and see a variety of steam, diesel and electric locomotives along with a fascinating collection of royal saloons, wagons, carriages, armoured trains and rail cars. Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.

Tour Costs: The tours costs are based on transport, accommodation costs and entrance costs at 16 January 2025. Travelrite reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements. No alterations to costings will be made within 60 days of departure.
Deposit and Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $900 per passenger is required at the time of booking. Full payment will be required 60 days before departure. A 1.5% administration charge will be added to payment by Visa, Mastercard and America Express.
Cancellations: Cancellations within 60 days prior to departure will result in the loss of all monies paid. Cancellations outside of 60 days prior to departure will result in the loss of the deposit paid per person. Travel insurance is recommended to cover the costs of cancellation fees due to illness, death in family, etc.
Changes To The Tour Itinerary: Travelrite International reserves the right to make changes to the tour itinerary to it in with operational requirements. Any changes to the itinerary will be replaced with similar arrangements with an equal or greater value.
Minimum Tour Numbers and Conditions: The tour has been costed on the basis of a minimum number of passengers having booked 60 days prior to departure. Travelrite reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of all monies paid or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified cost if the minimum number is not achieved.
Refunds:
The tour is based on arrangements which do not allow for
any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or other
services not utilised after the tour has commenced.
Baggage: All passengers qualify for 1 piece free baggage allowance.

Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
Responsibility: Travelrite International Pty Ltd. is the tour organiser. Travelrite International acts only as agents in making of arrangements with carriers, hoteliers and others for the tour. As a result, we cannot accept liability for any act or omission whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise of those carriers, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with the tour over whom we have no direct or exclusive control. We do not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change of schedule or any other events which are beyond our direct control, such as, but not limited to, war, flood, fire, civil disturbance, acts of God, acts of government, or any other authorities, terrorism, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies or firms and the purchasers of these tours and the passengers. Baggage is at own risk throughout the tour. The contract shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria and any legal action must be undertaken in the State of Victoria.
DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Travelrite International
to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite
International acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts
between you and the various providers of accommodation, transportation
and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite International
may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may
as your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you,
any good or service which Travelrite International reasonably believes is
necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you
or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in
which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint
Travelrite International your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay
Travelrite International any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite
International in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite
International advises you to obtain travel insurance generally including
in respect of the risk that any such good or service may become required.
