Luke Grant, 30 years a radio broadcaster, political commentator, current affairs junkie, humourist, professional voice artist and event host. Born, raised and schooled in Sydney, Luke’s media career has seen him work and live in Australia’s three eastern states, in places like Longreach, Inverell, Newcastle and of course Melbourne and Sydney. He was also the voice of the Sydney Roosters for 15 seasons, he loves his footy! While Luke’s on-air work focuses on news and opinions, his quirky sense of humour has endeared him to his listeners for many years. Luke is genuinely excited about touring the Mediterranean with listeners, he loves a laugh and has a genuine interest in people and can’t wait to join you on this outstanding adventure.

This morning we arrive in Rome and we have a sightseeing tour of the city of
Rome. We see the Coliseum, famous for gladiator fights in ancient Rome, The
Pantheon, the oldest intact building in Rome that dates from the year 126.
We also see the Vatican, home of the Pope and St Pauls Basilica. We are then
transferred to our hotel.
DAY 3 Saturday 22 June, 2024 Embarkation
The morning is free for last-minute shopping and sightseeing. We are
transferred to the port of Rome where we embark the Celebrity Equinox. This
evening join Luke for a welcome drinks party.
DAY 4 Sunday 23 June, 2024 At Sea
A day at sea to enjoy the facilities of the ship. This afternoon join Luke for a
discussion about his life in the media.
DAY 5 Monday 24 June, 2024 Olympia, Greece
This morning we visit Olympia, the site of the ancient Olympic Games. The
Ancient Greeks flocked here every four years for more than a millennium
to celebrate the sacred games dedicated to Zeus. We visit the ruins of the
Sanctuary, with its athletic quadrangles, stadium, temples and treasuries;
then visit the modern Archaeological Museum, a treasure house of Archaic,
Classical and Roman sculptures, including the famous Niki Winged Goddess
of Victory.
DAY 6 Tuesday 25 June, 2024 Mykonos, Greece
Today we arrive in the scenic Greek island of Mykonos. Mykonos is one of the
smallest islands of the Cyclades complex, but is definitely the most famous,
thanks to its treasure of natural beauty, rich history, cosmopolitan character
combined with plenty of local colour. Chora, the islands capital is spectacular
with its narrow, whitewashed streets and white cubicle houses with their tiny
balconies, coloured windows lined by bougainvillea and posts of basilicum.
We will have a free day to explore the quaint streets of this beautiful island.
DAY 7 Wednesday 26 June, 2024 Athens, Greece
Today we call into the ancient city of Athens, capital of Greece. Athens is
the home of the Acropolis and the ultimate in ancient Greek architectural
perfection, the Parthenon, built to honour the goddess Athena. Our
sightseeing tour today delves into the glorious history of Athens. We see
such famous sights as the first modern Olympic stadium, the Acropolis, and
Parthenon. We also visit the new Acropolis museum that details the amazing
history of Athens and the Acropolis. We will have time in the Plaka district, a
maze of winding streets with shops, café’s and restaurants.
DAY 8 Thursday 27 June, 2024 Ephesus, Turkey
This morning we arrive in Kusadasi, on the Aegean coast. We travel to the
Roman city of Ephesus, one of the most extensive archaeological sites in the
world. We walk along the marble streets, complete with chariot wheel ruts
made nearly 2000 years ago. We see the imposing two-storey façade of the
Library of Celsus, the best-preserved structure of its kind in the world.
DAY 9 Friday 28 June, 2024 Santorini, Greece
Arriving early in the morning, we have a day to explore Santorini, known as
the ‘Black Pearl of the Aegean’; one of the most spectacular landscapes in
Greece and in the world. The traditional villages of the island, built on tall
cliffs, offer breathtaking views over the submerged volcano. Enjoy free time
to explore this spectacular island.

DAY 11 Sunday 30 June, 2024 Valletta, Malta
The capital of Malta, Valletta was founded by the Knights of St John in 1566.
Its purpose was to strengthen the Order’s position on the island, following
the siege of Malta by the Turks in 1565. The sightseeing tour includes visits to
St Johns Co Cathedral and the magnificent Palace of the Grand Masters. We
also visit Mdina, Malta’s ancient capital and a medieval walled town situated
on a hill in the centre of the island.
DAY 12 Monday 1 July, 2024 At Sea
Today we have a fun game of bingo with Luke Grant. The rest of the day is free
to relax on the ship.
DAY 13 Tuesday 2 July, 2024 Barcelona, Spain
Today we arrive in Barcelona, capital of Catalonia, and second-largest city
in Spain. After disembarking the ship, we will have a sightseeing tour of
the city. In Barcelona’s gothic quarter we will see the historic cathedral and
the medieval streets and the modernist Eixample district, known for the
architecture of Antoni Gaudi. We see some of Gaudi’s architecture, including
the famous Sagrada Familia. We then transfer to our hotel.
DAY 14 Wednesday 3 July, 2024 Barcelona
Today we travel into the mountains above Barcelona to the historic monastery
of Montserrat, founded in 1025 and, according to legend, the resting place
of the Holy Grail. We will see the famous Black Madonna of Montserrat and
admire the amazing views before we return to Barcelona.
DAY 15 Thursday 4 July, 2024 Carcassone, France
Today we travel north towards France and the city of Carcassone. We first
stop at the town of Figueres were we visit the Salvador Dali museum. We see
the largest collections of Dali’s works in the world in a unique architectural
building in the town were Dali lived. After lunch we continue on to our hotel
in Carcassone.
DAY 16 Friday 5 July, 2024 Carcassone
Today we have a tour of the amazing historic fortress of Carcasonne. One of
the best preserved medieval fortresses on the world. The fortified city consists
of a concentric design of two outer walls with 53 towers. It dates from the late
Middle Ages. The afternoon will be free to explore the city and castle.
DAY 17 Saturday 6 July, 2024 Provence, France
Today we will depart Carcassonne and first travel to the Pont du Gard, the
World Heritage Site aqueduct, constructed by the Ancient Romans in the
1st century AD. In remarkable condition despite being 2000 years old the
aqueduct is three levels high and is an amazing sight. We then transfer to
our hotel.
DAY 18 Sunday 7 July, 2024 Provence
Today we have a tour of the villages and countryside of Provence. We visit the
12th-century Senanque Abbey that is known for its beautiful lavender fields.
The lavender will be in bloom allowing for fabulous photos.
DAY 19 Monday 8 July, 2024 Departure
This morning we are transferred to Avignon station for our exciting TGV train
ride to Paris. Travel at up to 320kmph and admire the French countryside as we
travel to Paris. On arrival we are transferred to the airport for the flight back to
Australia. Alternately stay on in Paris for a few days (at additional cost).

International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
TOUR OPERATOR:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd (ABN 64 005 817 078) is the
tour organiser. Celebrity Equinox is operated by Celebrity Cruises and are subject to
the terms and conditions and general information detailed in the Celebrity Cruises
brochure. All passengers must complete and sign a Travelrite International booking
form and complete the cruise personaliser on the Celebrity Cruises website.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:
A deposit of $1200 per passenger should be sent with
a completed Travelrite International booking form that lists your requested cabin
category. As soon as the booking is confirmed (usually within 24 hours) a cruise
confirmation advice will be posted to the client. Final payments are due to be
paid to Travelrite International 90 days prior to the commencement of the fly/
cruise. A 1.5% administration fee will be added to all payments made by credit
card. If fares and air taxes change due to government and airport regulations
and currency fluctuations Travelrite International reserves the right to charge
additional amounts.

REFUNDS:
The tour is based on arrangements that do not allow for any refunds
in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals, airfare or other services not
utilised after the tour has commenced.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
All passengers will require a valid passport. If you are not an
Australian passport holder check with Travelrite International for visa requirements.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Adequate travel insurance is highly recommended to cover
cruise members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the cruise and for
cancellation fees which could result from events such as illness, accident, death etc.
BAGGAGE:
Passengers qualify for a 23kg free baggage allowance on flights to join
or return from the cruise.
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS:
The fly/cruise arrangements have been made on
the basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling. In the event that less
than the required number of passengers have confirmed their booking 90 days
from the date of departure, Travelrite International reserve the right to cancel the
tour, giving a full refund of monies paid, or offer arrangements to proceed with
the tour at a modified fare.
TOUR PARTICIPATION:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd is the tour organiser. Travelrite
International Pty Ltd, its agents, officers, affiliates, and/or suppliers of services
pursuant to or in connection with this fly/cruise shall act only as agents in making
arrangements for hotels, transportation, including transportation by ship,
restaurants, or any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for
any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an
act of negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant company or person
rendering any services included in fly/cruises, acts of terrorism, acts of God, acts
of Government or any other authorities. Further, no responsibilities are accepted
for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery
breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather or other causes beyond
their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omission,
delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. Baggage is at owners risk
throughout the fly/cruise. The passage contract between the carriers concerned
when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the
purchasers of this fly/cruise and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to
withdraw any fly/cruise and/or make such changes in the fly/cruise as may be
found desirable or necessary for the convenience of the parties and the proper
carrying out of the fly/ cruise. This contract shall be construed in accordance of the
laws of the State of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be undertaken
in the State of Victoria. Attention is also directed to the terms and conditions of

DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Travelrite International to book
this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite International acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts between you and the various
providers of accommodation, transportation and other services that comprise the
tour. Travelrite may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or
may as your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you,
any good or service which Travelrite reasonably believes is necessary for your
benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise accommodate,
transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly
or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite International your attorney for this
purpose. You agree to pay Travelrite any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite
in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite advises you to obtain travel
insurance generally including in respect of the risk that any such good or service
may become required.
