The Blues Music Tour of Europe is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a fabulous sightseeing tour of Europe. The tour visits many of Europe’s most beautiful and interesting cities, including Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris and London. The tour also visits some of Europe’s best- known music cities, including Liverpool and Hamburg. There will be many musical highlights, including 2 outstanding festivals (the Upton Blues Festival & the North Sea Jazz Festival), visits to Penny Lane & Strawberry Fields (in Liverpool), and visits to many of Europe’s best blues clubs. The tour, fully escorted by Jules Boult and a hard-working Travelrite tour manager, is sure to be fun-filled from beginning to end!
JULES BOULT is an award-winning Australian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording artist. Jules’ musical career has taken him across Australia, the United States and Europe. Since 2011 he has released five albums to critical acclaim and been awarded a coveted Australian Blues Music Award. Since 2015 Jules has toured the USA and Canada each year, from New Orleans to Nova Scotia via the Mississippi delta, performing & recording across genres and sharing the stage with various musicians as diverse as Kermit Ruffins, Terry “Harmonica” Bean, and The Oak Ridge Boys. DAY 3 Tuesday 8 July, 2025 Berlin
Morning: Sightseeing tour of Berlin. It is a modern city being revitalised after
the many years of communist rule in the East. We explore this fascinating
city of museums and modern architecture, visiting the Brandenburg Gate,
Checkpoint Charlie, the Reichstag building and much more. Music is the
heartbeat of Germany’s capital city, especially the blues. Evening: Welcome
Dinner, including special Jules Boult blues performance, at one of Berlin’s best
blues clubs or fine restaurants. (B,D)
DAY 4 Wednesday 9 July, 2025 Hamburg
Morning: Travel to Hamburg, second largest city in Germany. Afternoon: Enjoy
sightseeing tour with a local guide. Hamburg has a long and colourful R ‘n B,
Blues and Jazz music history. We will visit the Star Club memorial in St. Pauli
where the likes of Ray Charles, Bo Diddley, Fats Domino, The Everly Brothers,
Bill Haley, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and many more famous musicians played
in the 60’s and 70’s. We will also visit Hamburg’s historic harbour and Lake
Alster. Evening: Enjoy live blues at the Cotton Club, a renowned jazz & blues
club. Overnight: Ibis Hamburg City. (B)
DAY 5 Thursday 10 July, 2025 Hamburg
Morning: See legendary music venues like Mojo Club & Grosse Freiheit 36,
where blues greats have performed. We will also include some Beatles-related
stops on our tour. Afternoon: Free time. Evening: Visit music venue Birdland
Hamburg, for the legendary Thursday Jam Session. (B)
DAY 6 Friday 11 July, 2025 Amsterdam
Morning: Travel by coach to Amsterdam, one of the most beautiful cities in
Europe. It’s a city of canals, bridges, bicycles (there are millions of them!)
and distinctive canal houses, with their stately facades and striking gables.
Evening: Enjoy a one-hour canal cruise. After the cruise, Jules Boult will take
those interested on a walking tour of Amsterdam’s famous Red-Light District.

DAY 7 Saturday 12 July, 2025 North Sea Jazz Festival, Rotterdam
Morning: Enjoy a walking sightseeing tour of Amsterdam. We then travel to
Rotterdam, home of the North Sea Jazz Festival. We will enjoy an orientation
tour of Rotterdam on arrival. Afternoon & Evening: Attend the North Sea Jazz
Festival. The festival includes top jazz & blues acts, from around the world, on
fifteen different stages. Overnight: NH Hotel Rotterdam. (B)
DAY 8 Sunday 13 July, 2025 North Sea Jazz Festival, Rotterdam
Enjoy a fantastic second day attending the North Sea Jazz Festival. The North
Sea Jazz Festival is known for its diverse line up and vibrant atmosphere. The
festival showcases a wide range of jazz, blues, soul, funk, and contemporary
music performances. (B)
DAY 9 Monday 14 July, 2025 Villers-Bretonneux / Paris
Morning: Travel to Paris, stopping at Villers-Bretonneux (northern France),
where we visit the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery (incl. the Australian
National Memorial). Evening: Enjoy a performance from Jules & The Parisian
Redeemers at Le Village Monge. Overnight: Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel. (B)
DAY 10 Tuesday 15 July, 2025 Paris
Morning: Enjoy sightseeing tour of Paris with a local guide. We will see the
Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysées, and Hotel des Invalides. We will see Notre
Dame Cathedral, the Latin Quarter, and the Jardin des Tuileries (gardens).
Afternoon: We will visit the Musée d’Orsay, famous for its impressive collection
of Impressionist art. Evening: A free night in Paris. You may wish to attend
legendary Parisian dinner/cabaret show Moulin Rouge (optional). (B)
DAY 11 Wednesday 16 July, 2025 London
Morning: Board the Eurostar and travel by train to London. Afternoon: On arrival
in London enjoy a guided coach tour of London. See Buckingham Palace, the
Tower of London, Big Ben and many other famous landmarks. Evening: Enjoy
blues music at “Ain’t Nothin’ But” Blues Club (optional). Overnight: Holiday Inn

A free day to explore London. Jules will take those interested to see the
famous Abbey Road Recording Studios (where The Beatles recorded) and
Lords Cricket Ground (both optional). Evening: Attend a West End musical,
theatre production, British Music Hall show, or London Blues gig of your choice

DAY 13 Friday 18 July, 2025 Upton Blues Festival, British Midlands
Morning: Travel to Worcester, in the British Midlands. On the way, visit the city
of Oxford, home to one of the world’s oldest universities – the University of
Oxford. Then, in the beautiful Cotswalds region, visit Bourton-on-the-Water,
one of the prettiest villages in England. Evening: Attend the Upton Blues
Festival, in the town of Upton upon Severn. Overnight: Whitehouse Hotel,

DAY 14 Saturday 19 July, 2025 Upton Blues Festival
Today enjoy a day of Blues music at the Upton Blues Festival. Set in the
beautiful Worcestershire riverside town of Upton upon Severn, Upton Blues
Festival has grown into a festival that fills the town with many thousands of
music fans. There are three main stages and 13 pub venues, and over 160
performances. A great day and evening of music. (B)
DAY 15 Sunday 20 July, 2025 Upton Blues Festival
Today is the third day of the Upon Blues Festival and a wonderful opportunity
to immerse yourself in the blues festival. Another opportunity for you to
explore the many stages and stalls in search of your favourite flavour of blues,

DAY 16 Monday 21 July, 2025 Liverpool
Morning: Travel to Liverpool via the beautiful UK countryside. Visit Stratford-upon- Avon, home of William Shakespeare. Enjoy walking tour and see
Shakespeare’s birthplace and New Place, the playwright’s retirement home.
Visit Birmingham, England’s second largest city, known for its network of canals
and industrial revolution era landmarks. Overnight: Novotel Blu Liverpool. (B)
DAY 17 Tuesday 22 July, 2025 Liverpool
Morning: Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Liverpool, with local guide, including visits
to famous Beatles sites – Penny Lane & Strawberry Fields and Mersey River
cruise. Visit The Beatles Story exhibition and Mathew Street, location of the
Cavern Club (where The Beatles performed in their early days). Evening: Join
Jules Boult for an included farewell dinner at the speakeasy themed Prohibition

If any of the musical entertainment in the itinerary is unavailable, we will make every effort to replace that entertainment with similar performers/events.
International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.

operator.
Tour Costs
The tour’s costs are based on transport, accommodation costs
and entrance costs at 1 June 2023. Travelrite reserves the right to alter the costs
if any of these factors change including currency changes, giving any passenger
that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify
arrangements. No alterations to costings will be made within 60 days prior to
departure.
Deposit and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of $900 per passenger is
required at the time of booking. Full payment will be required 60 days prior to
departure. A 1.5% administration charge will be added to payment by Visa and
Mastercard.
Cancellations
Cancellations within 60 days of departure will result in the loss
of all monies paid. Cancellation outside 60 days from departure will result in a
cancellation fee of $900 per person. Travel insurance is recommended to cover the
costs of cancellation fees due to illness, death in family, etc. Changes to the Tour
Itinerary. Travelrite International reserves the right to make changes to the tour
itinerary to fit in with operational requirements. Any changes to the itinerary will
be replaced with similar arrangements with an equal or greater value.
Minimum Tour Numbers
The tour has been costed on the basis of a minimum
number of passengers having booked 60 days prior to departure. Travelrite
reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of all monies paid or
offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified cost if the minimum
number is not achieved.
Baggage
All passengers qualify for 1 piece free baggage allowance.
Refunds
The tour is based on arrangements which do not allow for any refunds
in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or other services not utilised
after the tour has commenced.
Tour Participation
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
Responsibility
Travelrite International Pty Ltd. (Licence number 30858) is
the tour organiser. Travelrite International acts only as agents in making of
arrangements with carriers, hoteliers and others for the tour. As a result we cannot
accept liability for any act or omission whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise
of those carriers, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with
the tour over whom we have no direct or exclusive control. We do not accept
responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change of schedule or any other
events which are beyond our direct control, such as, but not limited to, war, flood,
fire, civil disturbance, acts of God, acts of government, or any other authorities,
terrorism, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action.
The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute
the sole contract between the transportation companies or firms and the
purchasers of these tours and the passengers. Baggage is at own risk throughout
the tour. This contract shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State
of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be taken in the State of Victoria.
Delays and Unforeseen Events
You engage Travelrite to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts between you and the various providers of accommodation, transportation and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you, any good or service which Travelrite reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay Travelrite any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite advises you to obtain travel insurance generally including in respect of the risk that any such good or service may become required.
