DAY 7 Thursday 13 June, 2019 Nice, France
Play Monte Carlo Golf Club Today you will play one of the most exclusive golf courses in Europe, the Monte Carlo Golf Club. Set on a hilltop about 900 metres above Monaco, the Monte Carlo Golf Club is an interesting classic that dates back to a 1911 design by golden ager Willie Park junior. Squeezed between the sea and the regions mountain range, the layout occupies mountainous terrain that makes for some awkward golf in places and some fantastically original holes in other areas. The course has been a regular on the European Tour and winners include Steve Ballesteros, Ian Woosnam and Australia’s Peter Senior.

DAY 8 Friday 14 June, 2019 Provence, France

Open since 1986 the course has been nicely sculpted, mounded and bunkered to produce an attractive 18-hole challenge. Many small lakes and ponds skirt the fairways and protect the greens.

DAY 11 Monday 17 June, 2019 Valencia, Spain

Built in 1968 by Javier Arana, a great Spanish golf architect with international acclaim, it is located in the El Saler Natural Park, on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. El Saler is one of the few courses where no two consecutive holes are oriented in the same direction and one where the player can hardly catch breath from first hole to the last.

DAY 12 Tuesday 18 June, 2019 Palma De Mallorca, Spain Play Son Gual
Today you will play Son Gual. Son Gual is not only Mallorca’s best golf course but one of Spain and Europe’s too. DAY 13 Wednesday 19 June, 2019 Barcelona, Spain – Disembark

Today we play Real Club de Golf El Prat, regarded as one of the finest golf clubs in Spain, having hosted more than 250 top-level national and international championships, including the Spanish Open on 10 occasions. Just 35 minutes from the centre of the vibrant Catalan capital Barcelona its roots date back to 1912, it is one of the few clubs to have been granted “Real” or Royal status by King Alonso XIII after his visit. Real Club de Golf El Prat has played host to some of the biggest names in the game with top stars such as Spanish legends Severiano Ballesteros, José Maria Olazábal and Sergio Garcia, eight-time Major winner Tom Watson, and Tommy Fleetwood having featured there in various tournaments.

DAY 14 Thursday 20 June, 2019 Barcelona Play PGA Catalunya (Stadium)
This spectacular and imposing course has been consistently ranked among the best ten golf courses in Europe since it was opened in 1999 and was recently voted #77 in the world, #3 in continental Europe and #1 in Spain. Be warned, however the beauty of the course can distract from the many dangers waiting to do serious damage to your scorecard. It makes no concessions with its trees pressing onto fairways, strategically placed bunkers and the lakes that come into play on no fewer than seven of the toughest holes. Tonight we will enjoy dinner and a flamenco show at Barcelona’s most famous flamenco restaurant, El Tablao Carmen. All the greats of Spanish dance have performed at El Tablao and continue to do so.

DAY 15 Friday 21 June, 2019 Marbella, Spain
This morning we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Barcelona with a local guide. We travel to the medieval Gothic Quarter, where we will see the historic Cathedral Santa Creu and the medieval streets. The modernist Eixample district is known for the architecture of Antoni Gaudi. We see examples of Gaudi’s architecture including the famous Sagrada Familia, the world wide symbol of Barcelona. The monumental church is Gaudi’s most famous work and the finest example of his visionary genius. In the afternoon we fly to the sun-drenched Costa del Sol town of Marbella. You will have a free afternoon to experience the Andalusian charm of Marbella’s historic quarter, filled with whitewashed buildings, remnants of a ninth-century Arab fortress and fragrant orange trees.

DAY 16 Saturday 22 June, 2019 Marbella Play Finca Cortes
In A demanding par 72, measuring 6,802 metres from the back tees, and with more than 100 bunkers, Finca Cortesin is ranked one of Spain’s best golf courses by the prestigious Golf Digest Magazine. Finca Cortesin hosted the Volvo World Match Play Championship in 2009, 2011 & 2012. The quality of the course maintenance and condition prompted US Masters champion Sergio Garcia to compare the greens at Finca Cortesin to those at Augusta National. Good luck!

DAY 17 Sunday 23 June, 2019 Marbella Play La Reserva, Sotogrande
Today we play on the outstanding La Reserva Sotogrande. The course is carved into the hillside with stunning vistas down to the Mediterranean Sea and up to the Andalusian hills. La Reserva’s 18-hole championship course was designed by acclaimed golf course architect Cabell B. Robinson. Opened in 2003, with wide, sweeping fairways that lead on to large greens, gentle but challenging undulations, and a birds’ nest location high up on the escarpment La Reserva has already held European Tour Events.
