Bridge, in the heart of western Louisiana’s swamp country. Enjoy a swamp tour,
by boat. See amazing wildlife (alligators, turtles, birdlife) and distinctive swamp
vegetation. Evening: Enjoy welcome dinner and live music at a Cajun restaurant/

New Orleans Saints (American Football) are named after the jazz music heritage of New Orleans and the spiritual hymn “When the Saints Go Marching In”. Their greatest success to date came in the 2009 season, when they won Super Bowl XLIV over the favoured Indianapolis Colts, the team’s first and only Super Bowl appearance so far.
New Orleans Pelicans (Basketball) were established as the New Orleans Hornets in the 2002–03 season when George Shinn, then owner of the Charlotte Hornets, relocated the franchise to New Orleans. In 2013, the Hornets announced that they would change their name to the New Orleans Pelicans after the 2012–13 season. Number one pick Zion Williamson plays for the Pelicans.

This morning we enjoy a sightseeing coach tour of New Orleans with local guide.
Visit an above ground cemetery, see the mansions on St Charles Avenue and visit
areas ravaged by Hurricane Katrina (2005). This evening we will enjoy a fabulous
dinner/jazz cruise on a majestic Mississippi paddle wheeler. (B,D)
DAY 5 Tuesday November 5, 2024 New Orleans
A free day in New Orleans. Tonight we hope to watch Zion Williamson and the New
Orleans Pelicans for our first game of NBA (subject to schedule). (B)
DAY 6 Wednesday November 6, 2024 Indianola, Mississippi
Morning: Depart New Orleans and drive to Baton Rouge, the capital of Louisiana.
We continue north on Highway 61, towards the historic town of Natchez, Mississippi.
We will visit Frogmore Cotton Plantation, where you will be taken on a guided delta
heritage tour. You will learn about the lifestyle that existed during slavery.
We then travel to Indianola, the home of famous Blues musician BB King.
Overnight: Hampton Inn Indianola. (B)
Memphis Grizzles (Basketball) team was originally established as the Vancouver Grizzlies in the city of Vancouver, Canada, an expansion team that joined the NBA for the 1995–96 season. After the 2000–01 season concluded, the Grizzlies left Vancouver and moved to Memphis.
DAY 7 Thursday November 7, 2024 Memphis
Travel through Mississippi to Memphis, Tennessee, home of the blues and the
birthplace of rock ‘n’ roll. Some of today’s trip will be on historic Highway 61, in the
Mississippi delta region where blues music emerged. Visit the Delta Blues Museum,
in Clarksdale, before continuing on to Memphis. Evening: Visit Beale Street,
colourful entertainment precinct, including live music venues such as B.B.King’s,
and the Rum Boogie Café. Tonight we hope to watch the Memphis Grizzles (subject
to schedule). Overnight: Holiday Inn Downtown Memphis. (B)

Visit Graceland, Elvis Presley’s famous mansion. Our Experience Tour tickets allow
admission to all the main attractions at Graceland, including the mansion, grave site,
Automobile Museum, Elvis’s custom airplanes, etc. Afternoon: Visit the excellent
National Civil Rights Museum (the motel – now museum – where Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr. was assassinated). (B)
Tennessee Titans (American Football). In 1997, the Houston Oilers relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. For the first two seasons, the team was known as the Tennessee Oilers, but it changed its name to the Titans for the 1999 season.
DAY 9 Saturday November 9, 2024 Nashville
Travel to Nashville, the home of country music. On arrival we will enjoy a sightseeing
coach tour of Nashville, with local guide, including the downtown area, Music
Row area (recording and publishing companies), and exclusive residential area
(see homes of the rich and famous). We then visit the beautiful and historic Ryman
Auditorium (Grand Ole Opry venue 1943-1974), for a fascinating tour.

This morning we will visit the Johnny Cash Museum and the outstanding Country
Music Hall of Fame & Museum. The afternoon will visit the Jack Daniel’s Distillery.
The Jack Daniel’s Distillery, located in Lynchburg, Tennessee, is famous for
producing the renowned Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. Founded in 1866,
the distillery offers informative tours showcasing its whiskey-making process,
rich history, and the iconic charcoal mellowing technique. You can explore the
picturesque grounds and enjoy whiskey tastings. (B)
Washington Wizards (Basketball). In 1973, the team moved to the Washington metropolitan area and changed its name first to the Capital Bullets, then the following season to Washington Bullets. In 1997, they rebranded themselves as the Wizards.
Washington Capitals (Ice Hockey) The Capitals were founded in 1974 as an expansion franchise and have reached the Stanley Cup Finals in 1998 and 2018, winning in the latter.
Washington Commanders (American Football) The franchise was founded by George Preston Marshall as the Boston Braves in 1932. The team changed its name to the Redskins the following year before moving to Washington in 1937. Since their last Super Bowl victory in 1991, they have won the NFC East four times with only seven postseason appearances.

museums, including the Air and Space Museum, the National Museum of American
History (see the original Star-Spangled Banner), and the National Museum of the

The tour’s costs are based on transport, accommodation costs, entrance costs and exchange rate at 1 November
2023. Travelrite reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these
factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to
withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements.
No alterations to costings will be made within 60 days prior to
departure.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS:
A deposit of $1200 per passenger
is required at the time of booking. Full payment will be required
60 days prior to departure. A 1.5% administration charge will be
added to payment by Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations within 60 days of departure
will result in the loss of all monies paid. Cancellation outside 60
days from departure will result in a cancellation fee of $500 per
person. Travel insurance is recommended to cover the costs of
cancellation fees due to illness, death in family, etc.
CHANGES TO THE TOUR ITINERARY:
Travelrite International
reserves the right to make changes to the tour itinerary to fit in
with operational requirements. Any changes to the itinerary will
be replaced with similar arrangements with an equal or greater
value.
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS:
The tour has been costed on the
basis of a minimum number of passengers having booked 60 days
prior to departure. Travelrite reserves the right to cancel the tour,
giving a full refund of all monies paid or offer arrangements to
proceed with the tour at a modified cost if the minimum number
is not achieved.

REFUNDS:
The tour is based on arrangements which do not allow
for any refunds in respectto sightseeing, accommodation, meals
or other services not utilised after the tour has commenced.

reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as
your agent engage any third party to provide or make available
to you, any good or service which Travelrite reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary,
repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain
you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly
or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite your attorney
