The traditions of fine service, food and entertainment continue better than ever. Enjoy the facilities of the gourmet restaurants, swimming pools, casino, theatres, cinema, computer and internet access, the Health and Spa Club, seven bars and much more. Take part in the multitude of daily activities that include numerous lectures on an array of topics, the regular musical performances, ship sports and much more. A voyage on Queen Victoria is an experience to be savoured and remembered.

Day 1 Friday 28 June, 2019 Depart Australia
Today we board our overnight flight to London.

Day 2 Saturday 29 June, 2019 London, England
This morning we arrive at London’s Heathrow Airport. After clearing customs, we will be met by our private coach and transferred in to the city. We will have an overview sightseeing tour of the city before we transfer to our hotel. We will see Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, St Paul’s Cathedral and more before arriving at our city hotel.

Day 3 Sunday 30 June, 2019 Embarkation
A free morning in London before we are transferred to Southampton to board the Queen Victoria. Start your holiday in style with a glass of champagne on deck aboard one of the most famous ocean liners in the world.

Day 4 Monday 1 July, 2019 At sea
A free morning to explore the wonderful facilities of the ship. This afternoon join Tim for a discussion about his life in the media. This evening join Tim Webster for drinks to toast the start of our cruise to Iceland and to meet other members of our group.

Day 5 Tuesday 2 July, 2019 At sea
A free day to explore the wonderful facilities of the ship. This afternoon join Tim for a fun group game of Bingo, with prizes for the winners.

Day 6 Wednesday 3 July, 2019 Olden, Norway
Nordfjord is situated between the biggest glacier in mainland Europe and Norway’s wildest stretch of coast at Stad. This 150-km-long area from west to east, from ocean to glacier, offers lots of great and readily accessible scenic, cultural and culinary experiences. Today we will spend the day exploring this beautiful area. We arrive at Olden, a small pleasant village at the end of the Nordfjord. We will journey through the beautiful Olden Valley up to the frozen cascade of the spectacular Briksdal Glacier, the best known of the Jostedal Glacier’s many icy arms.

Day 7 Thursday 4 July, 2019 Alesund, Norway
Today we arrive at Alesund, probably the most beautiful city in Norway, situated on islands and a peninsula, and with a unique architecture. Alesund is a beautiful traditional fishing town with an Art Nouveau influence. Built on a string of islands towards the Atlantic from the Norwegian mainland, Alesund underwent a dramatic transformation following a fire in the early twentieth century. We have a tour of this unique town to see its architecture. There will also be some free time for exploration and shopping.

Day 8 Friday 5 July, 2019 At sea
The morning we will continue to enjoy the facilities and activities available on the ship. This afternoon join us and other group members for a fun game of Scattergories.

Day 9 Saturday 6 July, 2019 Akureyri, Iceland
This morning we arrive in Akureyri, the unofficial capital of northern Iceland. We travel through the stunning northern Icelandic scenery to the town of Húsavík. Nestled on the edge of Shaky Bay (Skjálfandi Flói), Húsavík is globally recognised as one of the best locations in the world from which to watch whales. In fact, there is a higher chance of seeing whales in Húsavík than from any other place in Iceland. In one of the highlights of the tour we take a whale watching boat trip and, hopefully, will get up close to the whales. We then drive through dramatic Icelandic landscapes before returning to the ship.

Day 10 Sunday 7 July, 2019 Isafjordur, Iceland
After arriving in Isafjordur, our tour heads through the centre of town with a stop at the Ósvör 19th-century fisherman’s hut, restored in 1988. We drive through Bolungarvík village and back to Ísafjördur with views of the magnificent mountains and Westfjord – a beautiful but sometimes harsh landscape. We will also see Buná Tunguá River and the waterfall in Tunguskogur, and sip fresh mountain water that flows down the stream. We will also experience the awesome beauty of the fjords on the north western coast of Iceland. Mountains rising from the sea with breath-taking scenery make this a memorable day. Make sure you have your camera ready!

Day 11 Monday 8 July, 2019 Reykjavik, Iceland
This morning we arrive at Reykjavik, the capital and largest city of Iceland, and the gateway to Iceland’s stunning natural wonders, which range from ice fields to boiling thermal pools. After docking we will board our coach for a tour of the Golden Circle visiting the world-famous high-temperature Geysir geothermal area with spouting springs of various formations. This is where the name Geyser originated. We see the nearby spectacular Gullfoss waterfall (Golden Falls), where you can watch enormous quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge. We also see the site of Iceland´s ancient parliament and the place where you can see the American and Eurasian tectonic plates pulling apart at the rate of a few centimetres per year.

Day 12 Tuesday 9 July, 2019 Reykjavik
We continue our sightseeing tour of Reykjavik with an overview tour of the city including the presidential residence at Bessastaðir, Hofdi House and the Perlan building. We will visit the town of Hafnarfjörður and see Hallgrímskirkja, Reykjavik’s iconic cathedral. There will be time for lunch and a stroll through the Old Town, home to the Icelandic parliament and the Town Hall, before a visit to the famous Blue Lagoon.

Day 13 Wednesday 10 July, 2019 At sea
Today we will continue to enjoy the facilities and activities available on the ship.

Day 14 Thursday 11 July, 2019 Stornoway, Outer Hebrides.
Stornoway, in the Western Isles of Scotland is a place of peace, harmony, and diversity. Gaelic is spoken as well as English, eagles live alongside otters, and age and cultural disparity unite rather than divide the close community. We will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the island.

Day 15 Friday 12 July, 2019 At sea
A day at sea to enjoy the facilities of the ship. Perhaps enjoy a little pampering or a massage in the Day Spa. This afternoon join fellow group members for a fun game trivia.

Day 16 Saturday 13 July, 2019 At sea
Our last day at sea to enjoy the facilities of the ship.

Day 17 Sunday 14 July, 2019 Departure
Early this morning we arrive back in Southampton. After breakfast and clearing customs, we visit Frogmore House and Garden, the charming royal retreat, set within Windsor Castle’s magnificent private Home Park. Built in the 17th century, Frogmore became a royal residence in 1792. Although no longer an occupied royal residence, it is frequently used today by the Royal Family for private entertaining. We then continue to the city of London for free time perhaps to do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing at your own leisure. Later we are transferred to Heathrow Airport for our over-night flight back to Australia.

Day 18 Monday 15 July, 2019 Arrive Australia
