Don't worry about coming alone

About a third of people on the cruise travel alone. We will match people in twin-share cabins when available, saving you the single supplement. You won't be left alone; the Travelrite tour manager will be looking after you. There will be group activities almost every day.

MS Nieuw Statendam

Launching in December 2018, ms Nieuw Statendam carries forward the nautical heritage, signature service and classic style for which Holland America Line is known—while raising the bar for 21st-century elegance. Guests onboard ms Nieuw Statendam will love her interiors; grand light-filled spaces, visual drama and sumptuous interiors inspired by the fluid curves of musical instruments. A beautifully appointed mid-sized ship with elegant lines, she proudly reflects more than 140 years of Dutch seafaring tradition. There are ten delicious dinning venues and the wonderfully relaxing Greenhouse Spa. With sophisticated décor and amenities, staterooms provide a welcoming haven at the end of an eventful day, designed with thoughtful modern touches such as bedside USB ports, frameless shower doors and customized wood cabinets. Dazzling entertainment options abound on board Nieuw Statendam. The new Lincoln Center Stage and Billboard Onboard venues join the already popular B.B. King’s Blues Club for a complete new “Music Walk” experience.

CLOTHING ON BOARD MS Nieuw Statendam

Daytime dress is casual. Ensure that you wear shoes and a cover-up over a bathing suit when walking through the interior of the ship. Most evenings, Smart Casual is appropriate and can be defined as slacks and sports shirts or sweater for men and a skirt or trousers and sweater or blouse for women. Shorts, flip-flops, swimwear, distressed jeans and men’s tank tops are best left to daytime and the poolside. For Gala Nights jacket and tie are appropriate for gentlemen, while ladies wear a cocktail dress or gown.
