Donna Lynch
(Brisbane to Darwin)
Donna Lynch is one of the best-known radio personalities in Brisbane. Although few people would be aware of it, Donna’s voice is one of the most prominent among the thousands of commercials and community announce-ments that go to air on radio and TV each year. From the time she first dreamed of working in radio as a small girl, Donna’s heart has been in the industry. It’s something that comes through, not only on-air, but in her many appearances as host, MC, compere, or just about anything else to do with a public presence that speaks of comfort and confidence in the role. Frank and honest, Donna’s presence live or on-air is full of straight talk, humour and love of life. It’s no surprise that she is one of this city’s most popular media personalities. Through the early hours on 4BH 882 Donna Lynch keeps the night shift workers and insomniacs company. Donna ‘s show is warm, relaxing company with plenty of music to sing along to, local information and 4BH lifestyle segments such as gardening, health and money.
Peter Dick
(Darwin to Fremantle)
Peter Dick is a proud Queenslander born and bred in the sugar country of Bundaberg and educated on the Gold Coast. Peter began his career in radio at the tender age of 18 across the Bass Strait at 7BU Burnie in Tasmania. His career path in radio led to further travel interstate to Victoria, with Peter’s next opportunity at 3XY in Melbourne. He eventually returned home to Queensland to work for the ABC Brisbane and then with News Talk 1116, 4BC’s Afternoon show. Following a stint on 4BC’s breakfast show, Peter has now returned to the afternoon slot, presenting a very vibrant and entertaining program. Very much a family man, Peter shares his life with his delightful wife Sandra, and his two children. Peter’s genuine love of life and exuberant nature are infectious; making for great company and an engaging host. Having travelled extensively, both privately and as a host of various tours, he has gained an appreciation for good food, wine and cultural diversity… and generously shares his knowledge, passion and good humour. With Peter’s 30 years in the radio and entertainment industry, his warm personality and genuine sense of fun make him the ideal host to make any trip a memorable occasion. |
